Project Woona Cosplay

It’s official! I’m beginning Project Woona Cosplay! Hopefully, I’ll have this thing ready by the next BroNYcon.

I’m not making it myself, though, since I can’t sew. But I’m going to have one commissioned from the same person who made my Maid!Hungary cosplay, which was adorable. I’ll get the wig and buy all the minor stuff (like shoes) myself. So in other words, I’m the (short) model.

I’ve gotten in touch with Aridia, the cosplay commissioner, and she’s all for making a Woona outfit! I’m thinking a shorter dress for Woona rather than something floor-length, because she’s definitely a young and lively little filly and wouldn’t want clothes to get too much in the way.

But Aridia did bring up some good points. I was thinking about requesting either this outfit:

There are two questions she asked me that I will forward to you, and you can tell me if you agree or disagree with me.

1. Would I want the cosplay to be in greyscale, like in Moonstuck, or based on Woona’s colors in MLP:FiM? (I’m leaning toward greyscale).
2. If the answer to question 1 is based on Woona’s colors and I chose Outfit 1, what color would Woona’s blanket cape be? (Alternatively, maybe I could make Woona’s outfit be in greyscale except for the cape, which would be a really desaturated other color.)

What do you think? Maybe I should ask Egophiliac and ask what she thinks would make a good Woona cosplay.
